HHH ANNOUNCEMENT: Coronavirus and your pets at home

Dear HHH Members/Clients,

As a small independent business in Homerton, Hackney, centred around the care, training and wellbeing of local dogs, we want to assure you that we are monitoring the ongoing situation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) very carefully.

We take this pandemic seriously and have put strict measures in place to ensure that our staff, our dogs, and yourselves are protected and safe in all your interactions with us.

Our HHH Doggy Daycare and Training Centre is an isolated, self-contained space designed specifically for the health, wellbeing, and happiness of the hounds in our care.

The controlled access to the site ensures that you can enter and exit the premises securely with minimal contact and disruption. The dogs in our care enjoy an enriching space where they can run free in the fresh air, integrate and socialise with other dogs, and get the daily exercise and stimulation they need.

We have noted that many dog owners in Homerton have reported that they are following current government guidelines of social distancing, and/or working from home in order to self-isolate. We fully support your compliance with the WHO’s guidelines, however, while your dogs might be safe from the Covid-19 outbreak, they remain creatures of habit that thrive on positive stimulus, regular exercise, training, and social contact to ensure their comfort, health, and continued development.

We cannot stress enough how important it is to continue their daily routines as best you can to avoid them being contained indoors all day.

We will do our best to ensure that you and your pets will continue to be safe, happy, and healthy with us.

To ensure this, we have put the following steps into action to minimise human contact at the HHH site:

  • HHH Staff wash their hands immediately after all contact (handling leads, collars and harnesses) and at regular intervals throughout the day.

  • Clients only need to enter the gate on-site to drop off their dogs in the morning and to collect them at the end of the day.

  • No-one will enter and exit the main training area other than HHH Staff members, the dogs and our clients.

  • The gate to our premises, along with keys, and any other tactile surfaces are wiped or submerged in 80% alcohol-based disinfectant throughout the day.

  • We are not accepting any new clients or introducing any new dogs into our daycare until the end of April 2020.

All staff members at HHH Doggy Daycare and Training Centre have been thoroughly briefed and are taking the implementation of these protocols very seriously.

We will continue to serve clients in Homerton with the same level of dedication and commitment as we always have, and we hope your hound is able to keep joining us and their doggie friends for daily fun!

Thank you for your continued support.
